‘昂山舒吉传’爱心首映礼“The Lady” Premier Charity Show

昂山舒吉一直以来是我仰慕的偶像及学习对象。在2009年5月，当缅甸政府以莫须有罪名，延长软禁期，我只有写一篇短文向她致敬(http://chongswen.blogspot.com/2009/05/blog-post_15.html)。

当得知‘昂山舒吉传’将于25/04晚在双威购物中心放映爱心首映礼，我即刻决定以格拉那再也国会协调官办事处招待格拉那再也国会选区内40名各族单亲妈妈及弱势群体出席这场意义深远的‘爱心首映会’。

感谢妇女家庭部副部长拿督王赛芝的支持，让我能顺利成功安排; 也感谢马华格拉那再也区会妇女组及大马妇女发展协会首邦分会协助安排各族女士参与此盛会。更令人兴奋得是，演昂山舒吉角色的我国名演员拿督杨紫琼，也会出席这场慈善首映会。杨紫琼，从马来西亚出发，到现在成为国际红星，她一路走过的经历，一样激发人心。

昂山舒吉与拿督杨紫琼，是女性应该学习的对象。我非常希望透过这场电影欣赏会，能激发这40名国会选区内的女士，向这两位女性代表看齐。学习昂山舒吉不屈不挠的精神，学习拿督杨紫琼突破自已的努力，在自己的人生中，有了新启示。

Aung San Suu Kyi's courage & determination, has always impressed me and I admired her as The Lady & symbol of persistence.

When I was informed that ‘The Lady’ Premier Charity Show will be shown in Sunway Pyramid Theatre on 25-04-2012 evening, I decided to invite 40 single mothers & ladies from Kelana Jaya Parliament Constituency to participate in this meaningful event.

I have to thank Deputy Minister of Women, Family & Community Development Datuk Heng Sae Kee for her kind thoughts. Wanita MCA Kelana Jaya & WDO Subang Jaya helped to arrange the invitation list, Ong hope that through viewing the show, the 40 invited ladies from Kelana Jaya Parliament Constituency will learn & emulate the courage of Aung San Suu Kyi.

On top of that, Datuk Michelle Yeoh who played the role of Aung San Suu Kyi in “The Lady” will be present too. Ong said, we have a lot to learn from both Aung San Suu Kyi & Datuk Michelle Yeoh. They are the PRIDE of the Ladies.
