Many countries celebrated Teachers' Day annually, as a token of appreciation & pay tribute to all the teachers. They were the ones who provide education & faithfully served the younger generation. Malaysia celebrates Teacher’s Day on May 16.
This date was chosen as the Teacher’s Day in Malaysia because in 1956, the Federal Legislative Council of the Federation of Malaya endorsed the Razak Report on May 16. The Razak Report was named after Tun Abdul Razak, who was then the Education Minister.
